The UNIQA Group has finalised the sale of its majority holding in the listed company Mannheimer AG Holding (approximately 91.7 per cent of the share capital) to the insurance group "Die Continentale". The UNIQA Group had already provided information about this plan in an ad-hoc announcement on 24 November 2011. The stock purchase agreement was signed today. The sale price is not being disclosed. The legal execution of the transaction is expected in the coming weeks, pending regulatory approval. The sale of Mannheimer is a measure within the scope of the strategic repositioning of the UNIQA Group: By the year 2020, the company intends to double its customers to 15 million and will concentrate on the core insurance business in its core markets.
